Teilweise sind Symbole/Abzeichen geschwärzt und überklebt. Our third and final book in our Lorraine and Ardennes themed series is Nuts, The Siege of Bastogne, Battle of the Bulge, December 1944. As the title suggests this book covers the fighting around Bastogne, the US 101st Airborne Division’s epic defence and the German attempts take the town. The name of the book comes from General McAuliffe, acting commander of the 101st Airborne Division, in his reply to the Germans’ ultimatum to surrender Bastogne on 22 December 1944, when he simply replied ‘Nuts!’
However, Nuts also covers Operation Nordwind, the German attack in Northern Alsace-Lorraine, just south of the Ardennes. The German launched this attack take advantage of the distraction caused by their Ardennes offensive. Both German operations saw the first heavy use of new Volksgrenadier Divisions, the new type of infantry division introduced by the Germans, designed to fully utilise their limited manpower by introducing increased firepower with new weapons like the StG44 assault rifle. ||Battlefront||Flames of War|
|7%-Fow-fw227||Desperate Measures||10.08||englisches Regelwerk mit 102 Seiten. “In the closing weeks of 1944, Germany was under siege on all fronts. The mid-summer battles in Byelorussia and France had collapsed the once mighty Third Reich back to its prewar borders, and Hitler’s grand offensive in the Ardennes had failed to force the Western Allies to the negotiating table. However, the German high command still had some hope at the beginning of 1945. The Allies in the west were on the back foot, the USSR was busy rebuilding after its summer offensives, and for all intents and purposes, Germany itself had not been invaded, so morale and faith in victory were still high.” ||Battlefront||Flames of War|

|7%-Fow-fw306||Gung Ho||10.08|| The first Pacific book covers the US Marine Corps. The land and sea fighting troops of the US Naval Department, though not part of the US Navy, were closely associated with them. They were at the forefront of much of the fighting in the Pacific, bearing the brunt of many of the Japanese attacks early in the war, but eventually leading the fight during the liberation of the Pacific Islands from the clutches of Imperial Japan.
So what will you find in Gung-Ho? We cover the Marine Corps role in the Pacific War, look at their methods and tactics and take a closer look at two of their campaigns, Saipan and Okinawa, both with gaming and scenario suggestions. ||Battlefront||Flames of War|
|7%-Fow-fw307||Banzai||10.08|| The second Pacific book is Banzai, covering the Imperial Japanese forces in the Pacific. Japan’s rapid conquest of a large proportion of the Pacific and Southeast Asia came quickly after the bombing of the US Naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. They quickly seized the Philippines from US forces, drove the British from Malaya and took most of Burma, as well as defeating the Dutch forces defending the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). This was all quickly achieved by surprise and with veteran troops with years of experience fighting in China.
Inside Banzai you will find history and background on Japan’s Pacific War, Japanese tactics, the full Japanese National special rules, and four intelligence briefings. There are also more detailed accounts of two battles, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima, with background and scenario ideas for both. ||Battlefront||Flames of War|

Road To Rome and Fortress Italy are our two new compilations covering the Italy campaign for 1944 and 1945. However, as well as compiling the forces from Dogs & Devils and Cassino, we’ve added a whole heap of new forces. With those two books covering just Anzio and the battles of Cassino, we took the opportunity to add so much more to these two books, expanding the range of forces out to 1945 and the end of the campaign.
Fortress Italy covers the Axis forces that fought in Italy. It contains German and Italian RSI fascist forces that fought to hold Italy against the Allied onslaught. It features German forces from Dogs & Devils and Cassino, as well as website Intelligence Briefings and brand new forces. ||Battlefront||Flames of War|

Players fight to control three routes through the Liri Valley, the town of Cassino, and through the mountains. As the campaign moves from turn to turn, players’ Infantry Aces gain experience, which they can use to get new skills. ||Battlefront||Flames of War|

|7%-FW221||Know Your Enemy: 2012 Late War Edition||4.41||Know Your Enemy - a 116pg dossier on your Late War opponents which includes clarifications, arsenals and special rules. This book is in the same format as the Small rulebook and Das Book, it upgrades the armament lists, Special rules and gives rules errata for all the Late War books we made so they fully compatible with the Version 3 rules. A while ago Pete and JP were looking at some of the feedback in the forum about army lists and their special rules. The common theme was that special rules added flavour to the lists, but sometimes it was hard to keep track of them if you did not want to buy every single book that came out. Funnily enough we sometimes have the same problem keeping everything straight in our heads when we play.
Therefore the idea of creating dossiers for each of the major nations (and working on the others over time) sounded like a great idea to us as well. We first published these Know Your Enemy dossiers on the website back in 2010, but we felt like we could make it even easier for players to keep this information handy so with the release of Version 3 we decided to compile all the Late War information into one handy mini-rulebook sized package.
Know Your Enemy includes all the National and Divisional Rules, Warrior information and complete Arsenals for the US, Germans, British, Soviets, Finns, French, Hungarians, Poles and Romanians.
It also includes a short section of clarifications that help to bring some of our older publications up to Version 3, hopefully answering some of the most common questions that players have when trying use these older books.||Battlefront||Flames of War|

The small collection of a dozen American infantrymen has minutes,
if not seconds, to prepare to face might of the German army! The Battle of the Bulge has begun!
Devil’s Charge is the second book in the Battle of the Bulge series. It covers the initial onslaught by Hitler’s favourite Sixth
Armee on 16 December 1944. Players can take command of the very tip of the spear with SS-Kampfgruppe Peiper’s Panthers,
Panzer IVs, Tiger II, and armoured infantry. If brute force isn’t your style you can also field Otto Skorzeny’s sneaky 150.

pandemonium. You will have access to Panthers disguised as M10 tank destroyers and StuGs that look like Priests. Use stealth
to get in behind enemy lines and race to the Meuse!
Defending the line were several American infantry divisions and a cavalry group, all of which gives players a variety of
excellent troops for the job of stopping the German offensive. American players can field a Rifle Company, man a Perimeter
Outpost, demolish bridges with an Engineer Combat Company, defend the gap with a Cavalry Squadron, or counterattack
with a Light Tank Company. All sorts of new equipment is available, including the T34 Calliope rocket launchers, captured
German artillery, and more!
Devil’s Charge places players in the cauldron of the early and decisive days of the Battle of the Bulge. At this point, the
