Schiffsflotten ermöglichen einen regen Handel und die Erschließung neuer Inseln in der Alten und Neuen Welt. Es gilt, die Wünsche der eigenen Bevölkerung zu erfüllen. Sind die Einwohner anfangs noch mit Brot und Kleidung zufrieden, verlangen sie schon bald nach wertvollen Luxusgütern. Dabei müssen die Spieler ihre Produktionsketten sinnvoll planen und die Spezialisierung ihrer Bevölkerung im Auge behalten. Kommt es doch darauf an, eine kluge Verteilung von Bauern, Arbeitern, Handwerkern, Ingenieuren und Investoren zu erreichen. Aber Vorsicht: die Konkurrenz schläft nicht und könnte die neuen Errungenschaften jederzeit vor der Nase wegschnappen! Wer erschafft die florierendste Insel?

2 from 5 Great game, worst production

The game itself os great, I love the tech tree building and the strategic decisions that has to be made during the span of the game are both interesting and impactful. I love that you can use each others resources and that each worker you gain also lengthens the game because they are the cards to be satisfied for the game to end. 5/5 in that regard.

Besides this, I rate it only 2 stars, because physically this game has the worst component quality Ive seen in any game. It seems and feels like a pirated copy that was printed at home, with only cost-reduction in mind. For starters, theres no insert. Then the cards are barely heavier than simple copy paper, too easyly warped and impossible to shuffle without sleeves. Even with sleeves they wont last long Im afraid. The box and the other carboard components also feel way too light and flimsy, Ill be happy if they last until I complete a handful of games. The player aids are literally copy paper, not even laminated. Even the monopoly I have from the 90s have better quality than this game, which tells a lot.

Desto öfters du es spielt, desto mehr Spaß macht es.
Gibt auch eine solo Kampagne zum ausdrucken.
Nicht für jedermann, mann muss es ab können.
